FAQs

What are the wool bags made of?

Our wool bags are made from 100% New Zealand strong wool with 100% cotton handles and a water repellent cotton lining. They are durable, eco-friendly, and stylish for everyday use.

How big are the wool bags?

The dimensions of our wool bags are 470 x 240 x 120 mm, making them spacious enough for carrying groceries, sportswear, or everyday items.

What colors are available for the bag linings?

Wool bags come with lining options in Forest Green and Navy Blue, adding a stylish and versatile touch. The wool felt is only available in grey at the moment.

Where are wool bags and wool pots made?

Both products are crafted in a Woolmark accredited mill in India. We collaborated with a textile doctor from New Zealand, Dr Surinder Tandon, who is a distinguished academic who worked as an international textile consultant, and senior scientist for AgResearch Ltd for 27 years.

How do I care for my wool bag?

Wool bags should be gently spot cleaned with a damp cloth. Avoid soaking them or exposing them to excessive moisture to maintain their durability.

Where do you deliver to?

Currently, we ship only within New Zealand. However, we are working towards expanding our reach globally in the near future.

What is your returns policy?

We offer exchanges at the customer's cost but do not provide refunds for change of mind. This policy helps us reduce waste and manage resources responsibly.

What inspired the creation of these products?

Nadia from Royalburn Station and Polly, with her deep roots in the wool industry, wanted to promote sustainable alternatives to synthetic bags and plastic pots. Together, they designed affordable, eco-friendly products that champion the use of natural wool.

Is it normal to find small pieces of vegetable matter in my wool bag?

Yes, it's completely normal. The Wool Bag is made from 100% strong wool – a natural fibre sourced directly from the farm. Because of this, you might notice the occasional small piece of vegetable matter (like a bit of dried grass or hay) embedded in the wool. It's a sign of authenticity and a reminder that your bag is made from real, natural materials – not synthetics. We see it as part of the charm and character of wool!
